With over 16 years of experience at Perpetual Guardian, Yunus brings a wealth of experience to his leadership role in the Northern Region.

His key focus is to ensure his team of 31 across six branches in the region delivery efficient and superior service to all clients.

This means creating enduring relationships with clients to provide long-term prosperity and peace of mind. Yunus is proud to influence growth and change in the business, positioning Perpetual Guardian as an expert in the trustee industry across his region.

Yunus holds a Diploma in Business Studies.

Clare Guild

With more than 13 years of experience at Perpetual Guardian, and many years of experience within the banking sector, Clare has the skill and knowledge to help clients with their long-term goals.

Clare brings a high level of professionalism in managing our client’s Family Trusts and estates. She enjoys establishing trusting, long-term relationships with her clients, which she finds delivers the best result for their financial future, and provides them with long term prosperity and peace of mind.

She particular enjoys working with our elderly clients, through their Agency business, and in doing so makes a real difference in their lives.

David Campbell

With more than 15 years of experience at Perpetual Guardian, David is committed to advising and helping clients achieve their long-term financial goals.

David’s role entails meeting with clients to discuss and analyse their overall financial position, helping to establish their financial or investment objectives and advising appropriate customised recommendations.

David holds a Master of Business Administration degree from the University of Auckland and a Graduate Diploma in Business (in personal financial planning) from Massey University. He is an Authorised Financial Adviser (AFA) and holds the international Certified Financial Planner CM (CFPCM) designation, granted in New Zealand by the Institute of Financial Advisers (IFA). In addition he holds an Associate qualification from and is also a member of, the Financial Services Institute of Australasia (FINSIA).

Gail Stevens

Gail is an experienced Client Manager who enjoys guiding her clients through their estate and Trust administration. She prides herself on building strong relationships with her clients.

With almost thirty years experience in administration and client relationship roles, Gail enjoys using the knowledge she has gained to help her clients to reach their goals. Understanding the clients’ goals and needs is very important to her, and she strives to give a great client experience. Gail also holds a STEP Diploma in Trust and Estates in New Zealand.

On a personal level Gail is married with two adult children, her dog and a cat and loves nothing more than walking along the many beaches close to her home – especially in summer.

Kirsten Miller

With more than 7 years of experience in the financial services and trustee Industry, Kirsten is passionate about forming and maintaining long-term relationships with our clients.

Together with her high level of professionalism and integrity, Kirsten has considerable value to offer our clients. She has the knowledge and proven ability to provide our clients with the high standard of service they require and expect.

Outside of work Kirsten is a busy mother of a young child and enjoys spending time with her family and friends.

Ari Subramanian

Ari has over 20 years of experience in financial services with strong exposure to banking, wealth management, insurance and client relationship management. Ari worked with BNZ as an Investment Manager and Private Banker, providing customised investment solutions to high-net-worth personal clients, Family Trusts and institutions.He also has previous trustee experience, having worked for Public Trust as a Client Relationship Manager.

Ari holds a Postgraduate Diploma in Business from Henley College (UK) and a Postgraduate Diploma in Personal Financial Planning from Waikato University. He is a Certified Financial Planner (CFP), an internationally recognised designation granted by the Institute of Financial advisers (IFA) New Zealand.

Ari is passionate about building strong relationships with his clients, becoming their trusted adviser and helping them achieve their estate planning and investment goals.

Outside of work, Ari is an avid sports fan and is particularly keen on cricket and tennis.

Lynn Nyamadzawo

Lynn has been in the financial industry since 2001, leading and managing her client’s financial aspirations while maintaining long lasting relationships. She is experienced in assisting clients with their estate management wishes, establishing and managing Trusts and Enduring Powers of Attorney.

Lynn holds a Bachelors Degree in Banking & Finance, and a Graduate Diploma in Business Studies (Personal Financial Planning.) She is also a member of the Institute of Financial Advisers, on a pathway to attain her Certified Financial Planner designation (CFP).

Lynn makes time to visit the many parks and beaches around where she lives, and shares with her husband a love for the outdoors both locally and overseas.

Tanaz Siganporia

Tanaz has over 20 years of experience in the financial services industry, with 13 years experience at Perpetual Guardian. She has the expertise to assist clients in achieving their financial goals and estate planning needs.

She thrives on developing and building long term relationships with clients which soon makes her their trusted adviser. Tanaz deals with high net worth clients under different structures – estates, Trusts, Charitable Trusts and individuals under Enduring Power of Attorney.

As an Authorised Financial Adviser (AFA) and Certified Financial Planner (CFP), Tanaz is passionate about providing customised investment planning advice and managing large investment portfolios.

Tanaz is a Commerce Graduate, Member of the Executor and Trustee Institute (METI) and holds a Grad Dip in Business (Personal Financial Planning).

Outside of work, she is very active within her local community, serving as a trustee on a Charitable Trust, long time Age Concern volunteer and several other community projects.

Trevor Peacock

Trevor is a Client Manager based in our Whangarei office. With almost 35 years of experience in the trustee industry, Trevor joined Perpetual Guardian in 1985 and is one of our long- standing Trust experts.

Like many Perpetual Guardian staff, Trevor is also a member of the Executor and Trustee Institute (METI).

Trevor draws his motivation from supporting and advising his clients. Being able to help his clients structure their trustee and financial affairs give him a great sense of achievement and satisfaction.

Keeping a healthy balance is also important to Trevor, who is kept busy on his lifestyle block in Kerikeri, and maintaining regular gym workouts.

Paula Burgess

Paula has 20 years of experience in the trustee industry and is knowledgeable in a range of services including Wills, Enduring Powers of Attorney, Trusts, and estate administration. She is passionate about building long-term relationships with her clients and their families, and providing them with tailored estate planning solutions. Paula is a Member of the Executor and Trustee Institute (METI). In her spare time, Paula enjoys spending time with her family and friends. She is Treasurer of the Manaia Junior Rugby Club and is a member of the Manaia Squash Club.

Warren Corston

With more than 40 years of experience in trustee and private wealth services, Warren has the skill and knowledge to help clients with all their long-term financial goals through clear, concise and transparent financial advice.

Managing investment portfolios for our international clientele of Trusts and individuals, Warren also has extensive experience in business development for both corporate and private financial services firms.

Warren is a Certified Financial Plannercm and an Authorised Financial Adviser (AFA). He also has Personal Financial Planning and Management diplomas.

Tammy Barker

Tammy has ten years of experience in the trustee industry in various roles. She loves the opportunity to establish relationships which enable her to best advise people in the most precious areas of their lives, along with the variety of work that the industry offers.

She attained her BA degree in 1995 and her LLB degree 1997 and was admitted to practise in 1999. After immigrating to New Zealand, she re-qualified and was enrolled as a barrister and solicitor in 2011.

Prior to joining the trustee industry, she practised as a solicitor overseas for eight years, specialising in the area of litigation.

Tammy has gained experience in providing quality advice on asset protection, Trust management and estate administration.

She specialises in advising on the management of complex and diverse asset protection structures, which provide enduring solutions for her clients. Tammy takes immense pride in proactively engaging with clients, understanding their goals and expectations and working tirelessly to facilitate these.

Outside of work she is a busy mum and also long-standing volunteer for the Red Cross Meals on Wheels delivery service.

Sarah Clements

Sarah has been in the financial services industry since 1995 in New Zealand and in the U.K. Her previous experience as a Private Portfolio Associate working for a leading Fund Manager is an ideal foundation for her work as a Client Manager.

Her attention to detail, good listening skills and empathy are appreciated by her clients. She specialises in estate and Trust administration, and finds creating and maintaining long-term client relationships extremely rewarding. Sarah has a can-do attitude and enjoys providing practical solutions for her clients.

Outside of work, she enjoys being active as keeping a healthy balance in life is important to her.

Marg Davies

Marg joined Perpetual Guardian in 2015, after working at Public Trust. With over 25 years of experience in the financial and trustee industry, client relationships are a very important part of her role. Her primary focus is to establish long-term, trusting relationships with her clients and their families.

She finds it very satisfying to be able to use her knowledge and expertise to find workable solutions and outcomes to assist clients in meeting their estate planning needs.

In her spare time, Marg enjoys walking, fun holidays and spending time with her family and friends.

Khyati Shah

Khyati is a recent Law Graduate from the University of Auckland. Prior to joining Perpetual Guardian Trust, Khyati worked as an Academic Writer and Administrative Assistant for over five years.

During her time in the academia she took a keen interest and excelled at Corporate Law, Dispute Resolution and Family Law. She has a passion to use her legal talents for the benefit of clients.

Khyati is an avid traveller and periodically works pro bono on advocacy projects in developing countries.

Cleo Shortland

Having worked in the Trustee sector in both Auckland and the UK for almost a decade, Cleo brings with her a wealth of experience.

She has held a number of roles with legal and accounting firms, where she gained experience in conveyancing, establishing and maintaining New Zealand and foreign Trusts and corporations and personal Estate Planning.

Cleo is passionate about providing an exceptional client experience by identifying client needs, building trusting relationships and offering appropriate solutions for their ongoing requirements.

Outside of the office, Cleo is an active mum who leads a balanced lifestyle and enjoys travel.

Ian Parkes

Ian has more than 20 years’ experience in the Trustee industry as well as a background in running small businesses for many years. He, therefore, understands the everyday problems his clients face and has both the skills and knowledge to help them achieve their goals.

Focused on a holistic approach to estate planning, Ian enjoys helping clients put plans in place that will meet their long-term goals. He particularly enjoys seeing the sense of satisfaction individuals have when they know their plan will meet their needs.

Harry has a background in Commercial and Rural Finance having come from 9.5 years with The National bank and ANZ. A Banking career that began in Rural Finance in Canterbury, and later Commercial Banking in Auckland, has seen him gain valuable experience in the importance of asset management and protection, succession planning and equity preservation.

Harry is also a Trustee of a Charitable Trust which provides a strong understanding of operational trust management, governance and structuring as well as philanthropic endeavours.

Harry holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Commerce and Agriculture from Lincoln University. Outside work he has interest in equine pursuits and holds a private Helicopters licence.
