‘Drop Your Boss’ – for a good cause!

When The Graeme Dingle Foundation asked us to take part in their ‘Drop Your Boss’ fundraiser, we leapt at the opportunity.

The unique money-raiser involved plummeting 192 metres off the Auckland Sky Tower at a speed of 85 kilometres an hour! Unfortunately, none of the bosses were “available” on the day of the big jump, but our brave graduate Nina Manning stepped up to the challenge.

Founded in 1995 by Graeme Dingle and Jo-anne Wilkinson, The Graeme Dingle Foundation supports disadvantaged Kiwi children by funding programmes in schools to change their lives. The programmes use elements of the outdoors, classroom leaders and mentors to help keep children from age five to 18 on track, build confidence and set goals for the future.

Nina described the jump as “terrifying but awesome”.

“It was great to meet Graeme Dingle and see all the fantastic work that he and his Foundation do for Kiwi kids”.

In total, Nina raised $3,640 for the Graeme Dingle Foundation and Perpetual Guardian matched this amount. Every dollar donated to the Foundation provides an amazing return of $7.15 to New Zealand.
