At Perpetual Guardian, we believe a great team is our most valuable asset. Our people are passionate about what they do and have a genuine interest in the well-being of our clients.
We recruit, train, empower and recognise our team members to deliver comprehensive financial solutions and services to you, our clients.
Sue Addison, Client Manager, Dunedin
I work for my clients assisting with trustee services, including Wills, Enduring Powers of Attorney, Family Trusts, Maori Lease Management and Charitable Trusts.
The best bit about my job is definitely the people I work with – my clients and colleagues! I enjoy getting to know and help my clients; I feel privileged to be entrusted to assist, often during very tough periods of their lives. I appreciate the willingness of the people I work with to go the extra mile to ensure our clients have what they need, no matter what the deadline. This is an attitude not just confined to my branch, but reflected across the company at all levels, and is one of the things which makes Perpetual Guardian a great place to work.
I have plans to visit Istanbul this year with Soroptimist International, supporting their endeavours to improve the lives of girls, women and families globally through education and empowerment. At home, fun for me is helping my family out in the paddock with our Clydie and the rest of the wild bunch (as we affectionately call our collection of four-legged friends). I also enjoy a social get-together with friends, with good food, good wine and good company.
Chris Jardine, Financial Adviser, Auckland
I work closely with the client managers to provide robust investment outcomes for Perpetual Guardian clients. The trustee industry and financial services generally are undergoing substantial changes, and I enjoy the challenges these bring to my role.
My day to day role involves providing a broad range of investment solutions to clients, implementing Perpetual Guardian’s new range of funds, and keeping abreast of changes and developments in the investment markets and industry.
When I’m not working, I compete in long distance running. I also enjoy travel with an ornithological bent, seeking birds! My recent trips include Southeast China, Roebuck Bay in Western Australia, and Miranda on the Firth of Thames.
