Tim Chesterfield

Tim has spent his career focusing on global asset allocation and investment, bringing nearly 35 years of experience, as a global equity investor. He has managed assets in New Zealand, Australia, Europe, the UK and spent 15 years focused on US equities. Prior to this, Tim worked at both Deutsche Bank and NatWest Markets. In his role, Tim has sat on asset allocation committees to actively set country and asset class targets for capital allocation in varied market conditions. As the CIO of PG Investments, he leads a team of investment professionals focused on the client outcomes. Prior to PG Group, Tim spent more than 5 years as Head of Equities for QBE Insurance, managing a US$1 billion portfolio of US equities and leading a global equity team that oversaw more than A$5 billion. At AMP Capital, Tim shifted his focus to making institutional-quality investment management accessible to individual investors.

Tim believes that successful investing stems from consistency, taking a long-term and disciplined approach to asset allocation and investment. There are no shortcuts.
